Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Sat-guru Kali Yuga Purna Avatara – 2012 January-December

on January 29, 2012

I found this link on You Tube today and felt it was no co-incidence and so decided to share it. I presume it has been put on by a Sai Baba devotee.  I personally like the connection to the Sun (Solar Yoga) & the Advaita of “I am”:-

Meaning of Sathya Sai Baba’s Name:- True Mother Father (My sweet Lord by George Harrison) (George Harrison & Sathya Sai Baba)

Avatar – You tube (Avatar) (Your mission has begun)

Guru Mantra

Twameva Mata Cha Pita Twameva,

Twameva Bandhu Sakha Twameva,

Twameva Vidya Sarvinam Twameva,

Twameva Sarvam Mum Dev Deva.

“O Lord, You Are My Mother, Father, Kinsman And Friend.

You Are My Wealth Of Knowledge, Strength, Valour And Power

You Are My God Of Gods”

From the light, into the light, of the Light

Also, yesterday there was a lovely Chinese New Year at Puttaparthi,  celebrating the auspicious Year of the Dragon!

In Jyotish astrology, this should be a very interesting year of Divine Justice.

Jupiter, the Divine planet of Luck, follows a 12 year cycle. When it enters Aries, this co-insides with the Chinese sign of the Dragon.  Jupiter and Saturn govern the societal level of affairs.

Interestingly, Saturn, the planet of Justice, has entered Libra (the sign of the scales) and it’s  exaltation position (ie. strongest). They are in opposition to each other, and in Jyotish,  fully aspecting one another; balancing each others forces  well.  And, this will continue until the end of the year; the hot, controversial topic of the winter solstice!

Should be an interesting time to see corruption uncovered and corrected. A year for Satya Jit, or victory through Truth. Anyway, happy new year & Sai Ram

Sathya Sai Speaks, Vol. 16…

From this day, keep ever in your memory (remind yourself) what I am about to tell you:-

”I am God;  I am not different from God”

”I am the Indivisible Supreme Absolute”

“I am Sath-Chith-Anandha (Being, Awareness, Bliss)”

”Grief and anxiety can never affect me”

“I am ever content; fear can never enter me”

Feel thus forever. Pray that this conviction grows stronger and stronger… Be reminding yourself of this. Pray that you may not fail in this spiritual exercise.

SURRENDER QUOTES (Love Devotion Surrender – Santana)
Sai Baba on the attitude of Surrender
You may repeat like a parrot certain phrases like “Everything is the Lord’s,” “I am but a puppet; He pulls the strings and I dance as He wills,” “Nothing is mine; I am just carrying out His will” and so on. But what do you usually do? When a praiseworthy act is done, you claim it to be your own; you shout from platforms till your throats get dry that you won by your own effort, honour, fame, status and standards, authority and position, property and possessions, and attainments and achievements. But when a blameworthy act is done, or when it comes to confessing your share in earning ill fame and defeat, or evil and wrong, you conveniently transfer the responsibility to the Lord, saying, “I am but an instrument in His hands, He is the master, I am but a tool.” People swing from “I” to “He” like the pendulum of the clock. This very common habit, which is a fashion today, is sheer deceit; its hollow spiritual sham. Mind, word and act – all three must be filled with the belief that all is His play. That is the genuine path.

Bhagavad Gita 18: 62 & 66 (Krishna to Arjuna)
You are only an instrument. Do not take all this responsibility on your head. Nothing is yours. Be an instrument.
Verse 62
Fly unto Him alone for refuge
With your whole being, Arjuna. From His grace, you shall attain Supreme peace and the eternal abode
Verse 66
Abandoning all duties (religion and dharmas),
Take refuge in Me alone.
I shall liberate you from all evils
Do not grieve
Ramakrish Parahamsa
God has put you int he world.
What can you do about it?
Resign everything to Him.
Surrender yourself at His feet.
Then you will realise that it is God who does everything.
Ramana Maharishi
Complete surrender does require that you have no desires of your own.
You must be satisfied with whatever God gives you and that means having no desires of your own.
Sathya Sai Baba
I Want Peace.  “I” is the ego. “Want” is desire. Remove ego and desire and you have peace.
The minimal qualification for Grace is surrender of the ego.
